The Department of Youth and Young Adult Ministries will be hosting a special digital and media training for all (but not limited to) youth and young adults from across our Southwest Region Conference territory. This online training is scheduled to begin Sunday, September 11, 2022, and will continue consecutive Sundays through Sunday, November 13, 2022, from 11:00 am to 12:00 Noon.
Areas of training will include (but not be limited to) the following:
- Camera and Lighting
- Audio (microphones, mixing boards, speakers)
- Live Streaming and Software
- Stage Sets
- Visual Aids and Overlays
- Online Audience Engagement
- Video Editing
- Social Media Platform Usage
- Script Writing and Run Sheets
- Press Releases
Our goal is to equip each church with the human resources necessary to take the kingdom of God to the next level. Additionally, we believe that it’s critical to engage our young people in this specialized ministry optimizing their creative and innovative gifts in media.

The Youth and Young Adult Ministries Department is committed to playing our part in “Moving Southwest ‘4’ Ward.” We’re excited about partnering with our churches in Digital and Media Ministries, one of our four major conference emphases as laid out by our Conference President, Dr. Carlton P.
