Women’s Ministries exists to nurture, empower, and equip women for service in the home, church, and community. Through fellowship, spiritual growth, and leadership development, we seek to help every woman discover her God-given purpose and use her gifts to make a difference. Together, we are women united in faith—encouraging one another and lifting up Christ in all we do.
We also honor the Women’s Ministries directors who have faithfully served our conference throughout the years. Each has made a lasting impact by leading with vision, compassion, and dedication to the spiritual growth of women across our territory. Below you’ll find their photos, years of service, and brief reflections on their ministry contributions.

Legacy of Leadership
Honoring the Women Who Built and Blessed the Work
The Southwest Region Conference Women’s Ministries has been shaped by faithful, visionary women who have served with purpose and passion. Each leader—called, anointed, and dedicated—has helped guide this ministry from its early beginnings into a thriving movement that uplifts, equips, and empowers women to serve God and humanity.
Coordinator Muriel Bowman
As the first commissioned Women’s Ministries Director of the Southwest Region Conference, Muriel Bowman laid the foundation for what would become a dynamic department of spiritual growth and service. Her pioneering leadership established a framework of faith, prayer, and unity among women across the region. Through her devotion, the groundwork was set for future leaders to build upon.

Her leadership has ushered in “A Season of Grace,” characterized by collaboration with local churches, intentional discipleship, and community partnerships that have led to many baptisms and restored lives.
Her creative touch has expanded ministry programming with initiatives such as “Hattitude”—a vibrant women’s retreat track that celebrates faith, sisterhood, and femininity—and “God’s Daughters,” a mentorship program that nurtures young girls to grow in grace and purpose.
Through collaborative outreach movements like God in Shoes and Wrapped in Warmth, Covered in Prayer, she continues to inspire women to live “Rooted in Grace” and to transform their world for Christ.

From Eunice Bowman to Anysia Alexander-Archibald, each leader has contributed to a living legacy of faith, service, and sisterhood.
