The Children’s Ministries department supports and trains leaders and teachers serving children across the union. Partnering with trained volunteer conference coordinators, the department facilitates children’s ministries at churches, camp meetings, and evangelistic events. Each year, it assists coordinators in conducting Vacation Bible School, Sabbath School, and certification seminars in their areas.
“Children’s Safety… our priority. ‘Through training for adults and children, as well as background screening for employees and volunteers who work closely with minors, Adventist Risk Management’s Child Protection Plan equips local leaders to make the church a safe place, says ARM Vice President and Chief Risk Management Office Arthur Blinci.
