Emmanuel Children's Ministries Shares God's Love Through Music
Children of the Emmanuel Seventh-day Adventist Church in Hammond, La., participated in a community singing outreach at Greenfield Missionary Baptist Church.
Throughout the year, our children prepare for outreach opportunities by singing during Children's Church on fourth Sabbaths and participating in additional rehearsals during the week. These moments of preparation help build their confidence, strengthen their musical abilities, and remind them that their gifts can be used to glorify God.
The purpose of our community singing outreach is to extend Christ's love beyond the walls of our church while inviting children, youth, and families in our community to experience positive, Christ-centered fellowship.
During the outreach, we also invited the congregation and surrounding community to join us for Emmanuel church's 46th Annual Children's Day Celebration. Through music and personal invitations, we hope to encourage neighboring children and young people to participate in church activities and discover that serving God is both meaningful and joyful.
The children shared familiar hymns such as "Sing Hosanna" and "Jesus Loves Me," while our young soloists ministered with heartfelt expressions. Their sincerity and enthusiasm demonstrated that worship is more than simply performing songsāit's sharing God's love through praise. Their ministry served as a powerful witness to the congregation and reflected our commitment to worshiping God in spirit and in truth.
We are grateful to Greenfield Missionary Baptist Church for their warm hospitality and support. This outreach reminded our children that no matter their age, God can use them to encourage others and share His love through music.
